The scheduled tasks pane will show the current available tasks and also some quick access options for scheduled tasks

Number of available tasks.

Running tasks

Number of tasks that are currently running.

Show scheduled tasks

Will show the scheduled tasks overview

Create new scheduled task (wizard)

Will guide you through creating a new scheduled tasks based on questions and answers

Schedule current steps configuration

When you have created and loaded a steps configuration this option will allow you to instantly schedule this in a scheduled task.
