Email sender step

The email sender step type can send a e-mail witch can contain multiple files or entire directories. This step can be used to send log files or input / output files to a list of predefined recipients

There are a several settings you can set:

Sender

The e-mail adres from where the e-mail will be send to, this is default set to the mailings settings senders address

Subject

Type the subject that will be used when the e-mail message is send.

Body

Set the body for the e-mail, you can use the parameters {NOW} and {FILE_NAMES}, these parameters will be replaced by the actual values

note: When using the option "Send file contents directly into the e-mail" the body text will not be used

Recipients

The list of addresses that will receive the generated e-mail, press the button next to the text box to edit the recipients lists.

Files

The list of files that will be added to the e-mail, press the button next to the text box to edit the files lists.

Send file contents directly into the e-mail

When this option is selected, the file contents from the files selected will be directly added to the body within the e-mail, deselect this option to add all files as separate attachments

Directories

The list of directories, all files within the directory and that matches the filter will be added to the e-mail, press the button next to the text box to edit the directories lists.

Note: When the option "Send file contents directly into the e-mail" is selected, you cannot specify any directory.

File filter

Specify witch files should be added, for instance *.log will only add files that have the extension ".log" to the e-mail.

Send e-mail when no files are available

Set this option if you don't want to receive a e-mail when the selected files are not available, you can use this option if there is a specific file that contains error messages and is only generated when errors occur.

E-mail body is html

Specify if the e-mail body is html

Note: Deselect this option if you want to send "xml" files directly into the body, xml tags are not displayed when selecting this option.
