Sequencer step

The Sequencer step type is the step type that controls the execution for the IM Sequencer Client.

There are a couple of settings you need to set for this step:

When the IM Sequencer Service tries to start the IM Sequencer Client and an unhandled exception occur the result will be -1. The IM Sequencer Client has it own exit codes.

Steps configuration file

Contains the full path to the Steps configuration file. You can edit or create a new one if needed.

Generate report

Check this option if you want a report created, see here for more information.

E-mail report

Check this option if you want the report emailed to the configured recipients, see here for more information.

E-mail report only when the result is not success

Check this option when the report only needs to be send if there are errors or warning.

Do not clean run and password history in this step

Check this option if you don't want to clean history in this run. This can speed up processing because cleaning takes some time each run.

Connection Settings

Set the connection options only if you are using a remote synchronization Server.

Note: Make sure you have checked the Security Requirements for the IM Sequencer Client before you continue.

Handle warning and errors as success

This option is default set to true. The IM Sequencer Client has several exit codes, normally a step is only success if the resultcode is 0.
This checkbox will report the step as success even if the result code is not 0, you can also set other success result codes.
